Dryer

Dryers are used to remove moisture or liquid from bulk solid or powder by evaporation. These are commonly used for segments like Chemical, Dyes, Pharmaceutical & Food. There are mainly two types of dryers are used as mentioned below :

• Tray Dryer : (Photo)

In tray dryers heat transfer conducted by hot air circulation using of electric heaters or steam in radiator coils. To ensure proper circulation of air & transfer of heat, blower fans are installed inside it. Control of temperature & some other function assist by control panel provision along with equipment.

• Vacuum Tray Dryer : (Photo)

Vacuum dryers are generally used for the drying purpose of substances which are heat sensitive & hygroscopic. It is based on the working principle of creating a vacuum to decrease the chamber pressure below the vapor pressure & it causing it to boil. And the vacuum pump helping to reduce pressure around the substance to be dried. It results into increase the rate of drying significantly.
